Mauka & Makai

There is a secret spot on the leeward side of Oahu that some call Turtle Rock. It’s a section of reef where endangered green sea turtles gather to get their shell cleaned by a breed of local fish. Turtles are referred to as honu in Hawaiian. They represent creativity, prosperity, and wealth.

Yesterday we went to Kualoa Ranch for a horseback ride through some of the LOST set! It was really neat seeing the Ka’aawa Valley, one of the few parts of the island undeveloped.

This is Cowboy, Nick’s ride

As usual on the windward side, we had a light rain shower

We will be back in the office Wednesday afternoon :)
