Yesterday we were dead tired. The foster puppies and mama dog had a vet visit in the morning, which took longer than expected, but everyone checked out healthy! After eating a quick lunch and a few hours at the office, we came home to discover the mama dog had been digging… inside our house! So, unfortunately we had to take her back to the SPCA where she’s now up for adoption. She’s a really sweet dog, but with our pets, 7 puppies, and wedding season it was just too much for us to handle.

So needless to say we were beat. We were cleaning the house when the doorbell rang. It was Shara! She had cooked & brought us a full dinner- chicken & dumplings, beans, tea, key lime pie, Halloween candy, even a candle for our dinner table! This totally lifted our spirits and reminded us how important friends are. Thanks Shara!
