We have been beyond blessed this year! Here’s a recap of all our wonderful weddings of 2008. Thank you to all our fabulous clients, fellow vendors, and friends who allow us to be our goofy selves and make our passion for photography a career. Our new baby

Well not the two legged kind, but a project that has taken 9 months of brainstorming and hard work! I’m super excited to use my love for fashion photography with high school seniors! Check it out…

and now… the rest of the story

Thank you for all of your support and encouragement during our move! I apologize for what was referred to as the biggest cliff hanger in blog posts ever :) Our trip went very smooth and we all (dog and cat too) arrived safe and sound! We are now some-what settled and feel right back at home!!

Cross Country…

So as most of you know Rachel and I are on our way to Hawaii. We are currently in Flagstaff, AZ and will be heading on to LA where we will catch a plane to O’ahu. We started our journey in Charleston, SC and traveled to Florida to visit my family and on to Alabama to visit Rachel’s. Here’s a few shots from our trip so far….

Saw a Rays and Royals game at Tropicana Field

My sister, Emily received the Most Photogenic award at Miss Florida 2009 (We were even more stoked to find she was judged on one of the headshots we took of her!)

Jake at the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL

Rachel and her grandmother at a Hunstville Stars baseball game…

Jake at the Cadillac Ranch outside of Amarillo, TX

Brian & Ommy

So we’re on our way to the islands, but we’re making a few stops to visit friends and family along the way. Lately we’ve been in Florida visiting Nick’s family and rooting his sister on in the Miss Florida pageant this weekend!

Yesterday we met up with one of Nick’s long time friends Brian and his fiance Ommy. Nick and Brian have been surf buddies since high school and we’re so happy he has found a great girl to balance him out :)

We started the session with a 1940 LaSalle Cadillac!

Then we went to a top secret University of Florida agriculture center where Brian & Ommy first met. The open fields and vineyard were awesome! We had a little threat of rain…

The sun peeked out just before setting, giving us some golden light!!

Congrats!!

Jeff & Paulette

Saturday we traveled to Hilton Head Island for Jeff & Paulette’s wedding at the Westin Resort.  Jeff and Paulette traveled all the way from Michigan to exchange their vows. The cloudy skies spit rain minutes before the ceremony, but the storm blew past and we had a great outdoor event.  After the ceremony on the terrace, the party moved to the beach-front pavilion. Linda with Amanda Rose weddings coordinated the event & helped bring the details into reality.  Congrats!!!

Jay + Reye

Saturday, Jay & Reye were married at the Patriot’s Point Links in Mount Pleasant, the same location where they first met. The ceremony and reception were set up to overlook the harbor & the 18th hole of the golf course. Jay & Reye live in Athens and are huge Georgia Bulldog fans….but we won’t hold that against them :) The weather cooled off and felt great at sunset when a live band got the party started under the pavillion. Timeless Designs coordinated the event and created all the awesome details. Congrats!
